Financial Literacy – What’s Your Goal

Welcome to ~Wisdom from the House~

What is your Financial Goal? Do you want to be debt free? Do you want to save money for a home or for a car? Well whatever it is, it CAN be done!! It all starts be planning ahead and managing your finances effectively. Below is an example of a simple way we can all cut back on spending. Chris Brogan said, “The goal isn’t making more money, the goal is living life on your terms”

How to cut down TIME & MONEY on weekly meals
1. Plan Your menu’s for the week
2. Make Your grocery list off that menu
3. Find coupons for items on the list
4. Stick to the list
Simple enough right! Well it does take time to fully adjust to a new way of doing things. They say it takes about 28 days to form a new habit so give it a try and see how it goes. Now last week you gave you 10 of the 30 steps to creating financial wellness in your home and as promised this week we’ve got 10 more.

Steps 11-20 are:
11. Set smart financial goals
12. Set short, mid, & Long term goals
13. Pay down your debt
14. Expect the unexpected
15. Secure your financial future
16. Make a commitment
17. Save for your goals
18. Where does the money go?
19. Identify & document fixed monthly expenses
20. Identify & plan for periods

So we will see you all next week but remember you are always more than welcome (and encouraged) to ask questions, comment, and share, and of course SUBSCRIBE for exclusive updates to your email or Smartphone the second each video is posted.
